This is the transistorized version of the M5. The machine is 80% recapped (alle alte elyten sind vech), has a new drive belt, and is in very nice cosmetic condition.

I have an alignment tape, and I am wondering a little about gain staging. How did you set levels, and how much level/noise ratio can I expect?

I will be using 911 tape, for now, and I am hoping to use this for mastering. I am still new to tape, so I have to learn how to get the best sound from it.

This M5c ist the Best of M5 Types. The Elektronik is V396 / V397 and identic with Telefunken M10A and M15 (no M15A).

M5b Elektronik was very bad, Telefunken takes all Machines retour and gives this Elektronik.

One of the Belt is new? Now, the M5 has 2 Belts!

M5c with Butterfly-Haeds, i think 250,- to 500,-€ with very good Haeds.
